Receipt printer configuration for the Dutchie Register terminal
This article applies to Dutchie POS and Greenbits.
This article applies only to hardware setups with Dutchie Register terminal devices like the one pictured below:
Before you begin
- Connect the receipt printer and cash drawer to the Register terminal
- Start up the Register terminal and log in
Dutchie POS
- Sign in to the Register terminal and select Settings (gear icon). On smaller screens, you may need to scroll down on the left-side menu to find Settings.
- Select Receipt Printer.
- Tap the refresh icon to refresh the printer connection.
- Turn on the Auto Print Receipts and Use Local Receipt Printer settings.
- Tap the Receipt Printer dropdown menu and select (Epson) TM-m30II-NT or (Star) mC-Print3.
If your location uses a fulfillment model for order processing, turn on automatic fulfillment ticket printing and designate a fulfillment ticket printer.
- In the Backoffice, go to Settings > Devices > Registers.
- Select a register.
- Set Autoprint fulfillment ticket to Yes.
- Click Save.
At the register:
- Tap the menu button and choose Settings.
- Select Fulfillment Tickets.
- The toggle for Auto Print Fulfillment Tickets should already be turned on if you enabled this feature in the Backoffice. If not, tap the toggle to turn it on.
- Choose a Fulfillment Ticket Printer for this register from the drop-down.
- If Use Local Fulfillment Printer is turned on, this dropdown shows the printer that you connected directly to your Register terminal via USB. If turned off, this dropdown shows PrintNode network printers.
- Because of its simpler and often more reliable connection, we recommend using a local fulfillment printer unless your store layout or workflow makes using a PrintNode network printer more practical.
Greenbits
- Sign in to the Register terminal and go to the Greenbits Register page.
- Tap the menu icon in the top left corner of the screen, then select Settings.
- Under Device Setup, select Receipt Printer.
- Tap the Search for Printers button.
- Tap the printer number listed below. A blue checkmark appears on the right.
- Tap Test Print to confirm the connection.
