Dutchie Ecommerce payment options for Ontario

This article applies to Dutchie Ecommerce.

Ontario shops can take curbside pickup or delivery orders in Dutchie Ecommerce by using the payment option “Pay by Phone.” Enabling this option will notify your customers that a member of your staff will be in contact via phone to take their credit card payment. This option is for curbside pickup and delivery orders. To enable this option, reach out to your Account Manager.

Processing Pay-by-Phone Orders 

  • Step 1: Confirm the order as usual.
  • Step 2: When preparing the order, call the customer to collect their credit card information and process the payment within your POS system. You’ll find the customer’s phone number listed on the printed receipt and within the order details on Dutchie Ecommerce.
  • Step 3: Mark the order as “Ready for Pickup” or “Ready for Delivery” as usual.
