This article applies to Dutchie Ecommerce.
The Dutchie Ecommerce Admin Page Analytics tab provides you with a sales overview with key insights on Dutchie Ecommerce performance, including product breakdown, performance, marketing campaign performance, customer funnel data, brand performance, average order size, and top seller within the specified date range.
You can find this section in your Dutchie Ecommerce admin then navigate to > Analytics.
Analytic Dashboards
Below are all the available dashboards you can use within the Analytics tab of Dutchie Ecommerce Admin.
Sales
Timeframes
You can adjust the date range to view data for a particular timeframe. For a specific date range, click on the "1D," "1W," "1M," "1Y," or "ALL" button, and then click on the first date in the upper right-hand corner.
Filters
You’ll be able to see multiple different filters for things like Customer Type, Order Type, and Graph View. This helps you get drill down with your sales analytics and gain a deeper understanding of your clientele and their purchasing behavior.
Note: You may need to wait for the page to load after selecting a start date before selecting an end date. The Graph View may be adjusted to view Sales or Orders using the drop-down in the upper left-hand corner with "Sales" and "Orders" analytics options. Hover over the graph to view statistics for each individual date.
Performance
Depending on the timeframe selected, we'll provide you with information on if your sales are up over a certain period, or down, and give you the % accordingly. The average order size will also be displayed in this section.
Top Seller
Your top-selling product will be exactly that, the product that you sold the most of. Here you'll be able to see how much of that specific product you sold during the selected timeframe.
Products
The Products dashboard within analytics will you a breakdown of how certain products are selling. Here you'll be able to click different time frames, apply filters, and search to drill down on how a product has performed over a specific period of time.
Brands
Similar to Products, our brand dashboard allows you to see what brands are trending up or trending down. This can help you determine which brands are well-loved by your customers, and which ones are poor performers. Depending on the data available, this data could be used to make a decision on what brand(s) want to put on sale or even remove from your menu in the future.
Hover over a certain trending brand on the list and we'll showcase it in the chart on the right-hand side.
Ecommerce
In the Dutchie Ecommerce dashboard, you will be able to view the conversion rate of your online customers. The funnel shows how many customers interacted with your menu, added items to their cart, visited checkout, and actually followed through with their orders.
In the image below, the conversion funnel shows that of the 100% of customers who visited the menu, 21.37% successfully made it through the funnel and placed an order.
Abandoned Carts
Within the e-commerce dashboard, you'll be able to view customer abandoned cart data and the value of that specific abandoned cart. You can take advantage of this data by exporting the abandoned cart data and using it for targeted marketing efforts with an email marketing provider of your choice (MailChimp, for example).
Note: Please follow all FTC guidelines while email marketing to consumers.
Marketing
The marketing dashboard gives you the ability to track revenue directly linked to specials, coupons, and marketing campaigns.
Specials
The section within the marketing analytics dashboard can help you understand what type of special is most effective for your audience. For each special that you've run, we’ll show the type of special It was (Sale or Offer) if there was an email sent for the special to their customers, and the click-through rate (CTR) associated with it. We’ll also show the user the average order value when they took advantage of that special, along with the revenue your shop generated from it.
Coupons
The coupons section will pull data from any coupons that were running during a particular timeframe. This will pull the Coupon Name, the discount given, and how many times the coupon was used in that timeframe. It will also show the average order value from the coupon, as well as the total revenue brought in from that coupon.
Campaigns
UTM Campaigns will be shown on the Marketing dashboard in analytics. This will give you the ability to track UTM campaigns that bring the clickers of the campaign to your Dutchie Ecommerce menu and submit an order.
Example: Mr. Nice Guy runs an ad on Instagram with UTM parameters, so the link users click on through Instagram is
https://www.mrniceguyor.com/order-online?utm_source=instagram&utm_medium=advertisement&utm_campaign=Flower%20Fridays
With the new improvements in the marketing dashboards in analytics, you can check the efficacy of that ad by tracking the conversion rate, average order volume for consumers who click through the campaign link, and revenue generated from the campaign.
Note: We recommend using a UTM campaign link generator if you find creating UTM campaigns cumbersome. This demystifies creating a campaign link and will help track how the marketing campaign did in the Dutchie Ecommerce analytics marketing dashboard.
Occasional Data Delays
Because we process a large quantity of data on the backend, occasional delays do happen. If you notice a significant delay, please feel free to reach out to support@dutchie.com or your Customer Success Manager and they'll take a closer look.
