Hide or remove items from your Dutchie Ecommerce menu
Do you need to hide or remove an item from your Dutchie Ecommerce menu?
Integrated Menus
Adjust inventory to "0" in Point of Sale system (POS).
- If the item is physically out of inventory, adjusting the inventory to "0" will effectively remove the item after a fresh sync.
Make the item Not For Sale (NFS).
- Each Point of Sale system (POS) has a way of marking an item NFS. Once an item is marked NFS (or moved to a room that doesn’t process sales), the item will no longer show on the Dutchie Ecommerce menu after a fresh sync.
All Menus
Deactivate, or “hide” the item on your Dutchie Ecommerce menu.
Making the item inactive is the fastest way to remove it from the consumer-facing Dutchie Ecommerce menu.
- Click the green toggle switch next to the item to turn the switch red to mark the item inactive. (NOTE: The toggle is slow to show changes. Clicking more than once in succession may result in the item converting back to active.)
Non-Integrated Menu
Non-integrated menu managers may also set the inventory to 0 from inside the product if they choose to enable this feature. This is done by scrolling down through the product settings to Inventory and inputting the quantity. It will depreciate as your items are ordered.
