Canada cannabis beverage equivalencies change
As referenced in the Health Canada Announcement, the equivalencies for cannabis beverages in Canada are changing. Once your province has notified licensees you receive a communication from your province that the new equivalencies have gone into effect, please work with your Point of Sale (POS) provider to ensure the equivalencies are updated within your POS system. Follow the steps below to ensure the equivalencies are reflected in Dutchie’s Ecommerce solution.
- Confirm with your POS provider that the beverage equivalencies are changed within your POS system.
- Once those are updated, your Dutchie menu will sync to reflect those changes shortly thereafter.
Menu syncing: Updating menus after business hours or prior to opening will allow the data sync to take effect.
Please note that if you receive any shipment between the time you update the equivalencies and the end of month, you will need to continue to manually adjust the equivalencies of the new products until the new catalog is provided during the next purchasing month.
