This article applies to Greenbits.
Washington: This feature is not available for WA locations.
If you have been given a new license number/MME code by the state, it is possible to edit your license number in the Back Office. To do so, you must have the Edit License Number permission. This is assigned to Admin by default.
Consequences of incorrectly editing a license number
You may have been given a new license new license because your business has been purchased or you have moved locations. Do not edit your license number until your state traceability system has switched your inventory over to the new license. Editing the license number before the change occurs will have serious repercussions for traceability as it will cause missing inventory and reporting errors.
If you change your license before Leaf has moved your inventory, you won't be able to:
- Pull in manifests that are outside of the new license.
- Report sales, adjustments, sublotting/splits to Leaf for the inventory on your account.
If you change your license before Metrc has moved your inventory, you won't be able to:
- Pull in manifests that are outside of the new license.
- Report sales, adjustments, splits, or merges.
If you have a Metrc license, ensure that any sales/actions have reported on the State Link page before switching your license.
