A&D EK-1200i Scale Configuration - Greenbits

Follow this guide to configure your A&D EK-1200i scale for use with Greenbits. Note that this scale is not NTEP-certified. If you need an NTEP-certified scale, use the A&D FX-300iN.

• Power on the scale
• Configure transmission rate
• Configure data parity
• Configure the scale to transmit weight readings to the Register app

1. Press and hold the SAMPLE button to enter the configuration menu. Release the button once the display changes to P-3.00. 
2. The display should then automatically change to Func. If not, press SAMPLE repeatedly until you see Func appear on the display.
3. Press ENTER to access the serial configuration menu. You should see the display change to Poff 0.
4. Press SAMPLE repeatedly until you see bPS. Press TARE repeatedly to select either: 
   • bPS 2 for the Integrated Scale and Weigh Station 2.0. This sets the scale's transmission rate to 9600 bps.
   • bPS 0 for the Legacy Weigh Station. This sets the scale's transmission rate to 2400 bps.
5. Press ENTER to save this setting. The display will change to End, and then CP hi.
6. Press MODE to return to the normal weight reading display.

2. The display should then automatically change to Func. If not, press SAMPLE repeatedly until you see Func appear on the display.
3. Press ENTER to access the serial configuration menu. You should see the display change to Poff 0.
4. Press SAMPLE repeatedly until you see btPr. Press TARE repeatedly to select either:
   • btPr 2 for the Integrated Scale and Weigh Station 2.0. This configures the scale to 8 bits, non parity.
   • btPr 0 for the Legacy Weigh Station. This configures the scale to 7 bits, even parity.
5. Press ENTER to save this setting. The display will change to End, and then CP hi.
6. Press MODE to return to the normal weight reading display. 

1. Press and hold the SAMPLE button to access the configuration menu. Release the button once the display changes to P-3.00.
2. The display should then automatically change to Func. If not, press SAMPLE repeatedly until you see Func appear on the display. Press ENTER to access the serial configuration menu. You should see the display change to Poff 0.
3. Press the SAMPLE button repeatedly until you see Prt. Press TARE repeatedly until you you see Prt 0. This is the recommended setting for the Integrated Scale, Weigh Station 2.0, and Legacy Weigh Station.
4. Press ENTER to save this setting. The display will change to End, and then CP hi.
5. Press MODE to return to the normal weight reading display.
