In addition to keeping Greenbits updated on your Register, you should also keep your iPad's operating system up-to-date. Apple releases software updates for your iPad called iPadOS updates. This type of update is for the iPad itself and is different from updating the Greenbits Register app.
How do I update iPadOS?
You will not be able to use the iPad during installation. It's best to wait to install updates overnight or when you don't need the iPad for making sales.
- Make sure your iPad is plugged in to a power outlet.
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update.
- Select Download and Install.
- If you want to update between 2:00 am and 4:00 am, select Later, and then select Install Tonight. If you are ready to update now, select Install Now.
Can I revert back to a previous iPadOS version?
No. Apple does not offer a process for reverting to a previous version.
Where can I find more information on specific iPadOS updates?
