Close Packages
This article applies to Greenbits.
If you have Manual State Link, use this article about closing Packages instead. This information applies only to states that use Metrc as their traceability system.
When a Package reaches zero quantity, follow the steps below to close the Package in Greenbits. This also finishes the Package in Metrc.
- Go to Inventory > Packages and search for the Package ID you want to close.
- Select Actions > Close Package.
- Select Close Package.
Greenbits changes the status all the Package's barcodes (SKUs) to Archived - Locked, and finishes the Package in Metrc. This prevents any further actions on this Package.
If you make a mistake and need to re-open a Package, go to the Packages page and select Actions > Reopen Package. When you reopen a Package in Greenbits, Greenbits also changes the Package's barcodes (SKUs) to For Sale, and un-finishes the Package in Metrc.
Why can't I close this Package?
You cannot close a Package with quantities in Greenbits that don't match the quantities in Metrc. To close a Package with mismatched quantities, you should investigate the discrepancy and reconcile with Metrc, if necessary.
