To use this feature, you must have the View package history events permission.

With Package/Lot History, you can examine the events that have occurred within a specific Package ID/Lot Number. You can use this feature to investigate discrepancies or Reporting Failures.

This feature only captures events that have occurred within Greenbits, it does not capture events that occur within your traceability system.

To view Package/Lot History navigate to Back Office > Inventory > Packages or Lots. Then, select the Package/Lot that you wish to view. A History pop-up will appear and you can view events that have occurred within a Package ID/Lot Number, as well as the resulting Status. Statuses include Blocked, Pending, OK, and Reassigned.  If a Package/Lot is Blocked, some sort of action must be taken, such as a Package Reconciliation.

You can filter by Event and User.

The advantage of Package/Lot History is that you can better investigate when a Package/Lot becomes out of sync. For example, you may see that an employee merged a Package/Lot, resulting in the Package/Lot becoming Blocked. In addition to being able to take action to resolve issues with a Package/Lot, the knowledge of when the event occurred, what the event was, and who was responsible for the event gives you the opportunity to prevent this type of issue in the future.

Reassigned Sales

If you make a sale that results in a reporting failure and Package becoming blocked, you may be to take action on the State Link page to reassign the sale to a new Package.

Note: The State Link page is only available to Metrc users.

If you reassign a sale on the State Link page, the following will happen on the Package/Lot History page:

  1. The sale event status will change from Blocked to Pending. The Package History note will include the new Package ID.

  2. The sale will be Pending until the sale is reported.
  3. Once the sale is successfully reported, the status will change from Pending to Reassigned. Reassigned.png
