The first time you enable Places, Greenbits automatically organizes your inventory into Places for you. After that, inventory moves through Places depending on the actions that you take.

For example:

  1. You go to to the Products page and see that a bulk flower Product has a quantity of 1000 grams the Sales Floor.
  2. You follow the workflow for converting inventory, such as converting 100 grams of bulk flower to pre-rolls.
  3. The bulk flower Product quantity on the Sales Floor will be reduced to 900 grams.
  4. Find the converted pre-rolls on the Products page. The 100 grams will be in Back Stock.

Back Stock Place 
Organization

Greenbits puts inventory items in Back Stock when:

  • You receive inventory.
  • You split a package or lot.
  • You merge a package or lot.
  • You convert inventory.

The original Package will remain in it's current location.

Inventory status

Back Stock inventory items are Not for Sale.

Sales channels

Back Stock inventory items do not appear on the Register or in Menu Feeds.

 

Archived Place
Organization

Greenbits puts inventory items in Archive when items have been:

  • Finished
  • Closed
  • Transferred Out
Inventory status

Archived inventory items are Locked.

Sales channels

Archived inventory items do not appear on the Register or in Menu Feeds.

 

Quarantine Place
Organization

Greenbits puts inventory items in Quarantine when they are returned to your store.

Inventory status

Quarantine inventory items are Quarantined.

Sales channels

Quarantine inventory items do not appear on the Register or in Menu Feeds.

 

Ready for Pick-Up/Delivery Place
Organization

Greenbits puts inventory items in the Pick-Up/Delivery Place when they are being put aside for pick-up or they are being delivered.

Inventory status

Quarantine inventory items are On Hold.

Sales channels

Ready for Pick-Up/Delivery items do not appear on the Register or Menu Feeds. As items are added to pick-up/delivery Place, available items for sale will decrease.

 

Sales Floor Place
Organization

When inventory is marked as For Sale, it moves to the Sales Floor Place.

Inventory status

Sales Floor inventory items are For Sale. 

Sales channels

Sales Floor inventory items appear on the Register and in Menu Feeds.
