Troubleshoot Running Reports
This article applies to Greenbits.
Many Greenbits reports are .csv files that you download onto your computer and open in a spreadsheet program. You can open the downloaded files in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or a free spreadsheet application such as OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
If you run into issues, here's how to fix them.
I can't find the report after downloading
Check the Downloads folder on your computer. You can change the settings on your computer to open .csv files in your preferred spreadsheet program automatically, so you won't have to find the files in the future.
The report didn't download
Occasionally when you select Download to download reports, they open in a new browser tab instead of downloading to your computer. The info will be unreadable. If this happens, select File > Save As to download it again.
The report opened in my browser instead of a spreadsheet program
Occasionally when you double-click to open your downloaded .csv files, they open in a browser instead. The info will be unreadable. If this happens, right-click the file and select Open With, then select your spreadsheet program.
