Report Builder Classic: Create reports to upload to other systems
Your county or state may require you to upload .csv files to a system other than your state's traceability system. If they do, you can create an Advanced report for the information.
Let's say your county requires you to upload a .csv file of your total sales for different product types on a weekly basis. Here's how you would get that information from Greenbits.
Generate your total sales report
- Date Interval: Select This Week.
- By: Select Product Type.
- Column: Select Sales.
- Group By: Select None.
- Measure: Select Dollars.
- Select Refresh
.
- Select Download CSV to save your report to your desktop as a .csv file.
This report includes total sales by product type for the week. Click here to generate this report automatically.
Generate your product type quantity report
This report is the same as the report above, except this one measures by Units. If you still have the total sales report open, change Measure to Units, and you are done. If you don't have the total sales report open, you can recreate the report like this:
- Date Interval: Select This Week.
- By: Select Product Type.
- Column: Select Sales.
- Group By: Select None.
- Measure: Select Units.
- Select Refresh
.
- Select Download CSV to save your report to your desktop as a .csv file.
This report includes the quantity of each product type that you sold for the week. Click here to generate this report automatically.
Combine the reports
In this example, you need to combine the information in both reports into one .csv file.
- Open the .csv files in Excel or another spreadsheet program.
- Copy and paste the columns of both your reports onto a new spreadsheet.
- Delete any information that your state or county doesn't need in the report.
- Add any required information that you can't get from Greenbits, such as your county license number.
- Save the new spreadsheet as a .csv file.
What's next?
Refer to your county or state agency to find out exactly what information they require.
