Accept payment
After you ring up items and apply any discounts or loyalty program rewards, accept payment from the customer to finish the sale. Customers can pay with cash, debit, or gift card.

You cannot go back after you tap Tender! Make sure your payment methods are correct before selecting it. This finalizes the sale, though an admin user can edit the payment amount and payment method later.
Customer paying with cash
- Tap one of the cash amount buttons or tap Tender with Cash if the customer is paying exact change or another amount.
- Enter the amount of cash the customer paid you.
- Tap Tender.
- The amount of change you should return displays on the Issue Receipt page.
Customer paying with debit (integrated)
- Tap Tender with Card for integrated PIN debit payments. You must tender the exact transaction amount to the customer's card; split payments and cash back are not supported.

Have the customer follow the prompts on the payment terminal.

Wait for the terminal to complete the payment. This may take up to 5 minutes. The transaction summary screen appears in the Register app when the payment is complete. Don't try to cancel transactions, close the Register app, or do anything else while waiting for the terminal to process the payment.
Customer paying with debit (non-integrated) or Cashless ATM
- Tap Other Payments.
- Select a payment method.
- Debit allows you to enter an amount less than or equal to the transaction total (for a split payment) but you cannot enter an amount more than the transaction total.
- Cashless ATM allows you to enter any amount and is intended for stores that process electronic payments as ATM transactions (usually in increments of $5) and need to be able to give change back to the customer. For example, if a customer's total is $118.00, you would tender $120.00 to Cashless ATM in Greenbits, process the same amount on your external card reader (not connected to Greenbits), and give the customer $2.00 in change.
- Enter the amount.
- Tap Tender.
Customer wants to use multiple payment methods (Cash, Cashless ATM, and Gift Card only)
- Tap Other Payments.
- Select a payment method.
- Enter the amount.
- Repeat for each of the payment methods.
- When you are done with all payment methods, tap Tender.
