When you select a customer, you can now see whether they are at risk of exceeding their purchase limit under Total Used. In addition seeing how much cannabis a customer has already put in their cart, you can see what is Available to Purchase Today while remaining legally compliant! Budtenders can make recommendations and answer questions about which products a customer can buy during their visit.

As products are added, the amounts of products that are available to purchase will decrease. If there is an uncompliant amount of cannabis products in a customer's cart, you will see the Total Used meter turn red and the Available to Purchase products will go into the negative.

States with real-time tracking

If your state has a central patient repository and uses real-time tracking, the amount Available to Purchase for a customer will take into account prior purchases to prevent going over the legal limit. For example, if your state has a legal limit of 1 oz per day and a customer purchases .75 oz in the morning, if they return in the afternoon their amount Available to Purchase will be .25 oz.

States without real-time tracking

If your state does not uses real-time tracking, the amount Available to Purchase for a customer will reset after each transaction. For example, if your state has a legal limit of 1 oz per day and a customer purchases .75 oz in the morning, if they return in the afternoon their amount Available to Purchase will be 1 oz. If you do not have real-time tracking, you may wish to familiarize yourself with Transaction History.

Key features for states that use equivalencies or potency-based limits

  • Multiple traceable types will decrease as products are added to a customer's cart.
  • Potency-based limits are listed in mg. These limits come from the Total THC field in the manifest associated with that particular batch/lot/SKU.
  • Weight-based limits take from the Weight field in the product details.
