Manual State Link: Close packages
This article applies to Greenbits.
This doc applies to Manual State Link only.
When a package reaches zero quantity, follow the steps below to keep your inventory up-to-date.
- If the quantity in Greenbits is not zero, adjust the package quantity to zero.
- For example, if you have a small amount of flower left in a package that you intend to destroy and not sell, adjust the package before you upload your adjustments for the day.
- Upload your adjustments for the day.
- In Metrc, finish the package.
- In Greenbits, go to Inventory > Packages.
- Search for the package ID that you want to close.
- Select Actions > Close Package. This will prevent any further actions on this package.
Reopen packages
If you need to reopen a closed package to accept a customer return, you must reopen the package in Greenbits first and then unfinish the package in Metrc. After you reopen and unfinish the package, you can accept the customer return. If you reopen a package in Greenbits and do not also unfinish the package in Metrc, your uploads will fail.
- In Greenbits, go to Inventory > Packages.
- Search for the package ID you intend to reopen.
- Select Actions > Reopen Package.
- In Metrc, unfinish the package.
