Use transaction History to prevent looping

Your front desk staff can look up a customer's transaction History in the Back Office to help prevent looping. Make it a part of your store's greeting process to view transaction History and check against your state's limits. Find out how to look up transaction history here.

Looping is when a customer attempts to get around transaction limits by visiting a store multiple times or visiting multiple stores to purchase more than the limit.

If you view a customer's history in the Back Office and they purchased cannabis at one of your stores in the last 24 hours, a warning message displays.

What should I do if I see this warning?

If you see this warning when looking up history in the Back Office, review the customer's transactions to make sure they didn't go over your state's limit in the transaction limit time period. Depending on your state, this can range from 24 hours to one month.

• Review purchases in the customer's history, and verify that they did not go over your state's transaction limits, depending on your state's laws.
• If you have more than one location, verify that the customer didn't purchase their allotted amount at any of your other locations before coming in to your store.
