Use Chain Admin to manage orders, dispensaries, analytics, chain specials, and chain billing across multiple retailers within a Dutchie Ecommerce Enterprise account, all in one location.

Things to know 

  • Enterprise accounts using Dutchie Ecommerce can access settings for any location all from one place, with Chain Admin.
  • A Dutchie Ecommerce Chain Admin account can only be accessed when a Dutchie Admin User has been granted access to multiple locations.
  • Chain Admin account can be accessed by logging in at admin.dutchie.com and clicking the star in the bottom right of the screen from any location-specific view of Dutchie Admin.
  • The Chain Admin view is similar to the location-specific view of Dutchie Admin. However, there are key feature differences related to managing multiple locations using Dutchie E-Commerce within a chain. 

Understanding key differences between Chain Admin and Dutchie Admin

An Enterprise Chain Admin Account A Location in Dutchie Admin
Star appears in the upper left corner of Chain Admin. Shop Logo appears in the upper left corner of Dutchie Admin. 
Online & Kiosk Orders are combined for all locations in an Enterprise account. Orders for a single location can be viewed. 
Order Analytics are combined for all locations in an Enterprise account. Order Analytics for a single location can be viewed. 
The Promote page creates Chain Specials that apply to all locations in an Enterprise account.  The Promote page creates Specials for a single location
The Settings page in Chain Admin is limited to managing My Account or Chain Billing. The Settings page in Dutchie Admin is used to manage location-specific settings, including Store Info, Ordering, Hours, Users, Devices, Billing, Taxes, Integrations, and SEO settings. 

Note: If location settings appear to be missing in Dutchie Admin, be sure to check the upper left-hand corner of the page to ensure the shop’s logo is appearing.

Orders 

The Orders page for Chain Admin allows you to view both Online and Kiosk orders, for all locations included in the chain account. The dropdown menu located at the of the Orders page, for both Online and Kiosk orders, allows you to view Current, Past, or Archived orders. 

Access dispensaries in chain admin

The Dispensaries page shows all dispensaries within that particular chain, with links to open each location individually. The drop-down menu located on the Dispensaries page allows you to view only the dispensaries in a certain location, within your chain account. You can also search for the name of the shop in the search field. To access

  1. In Dutchie Admin, click the green star logo. 
  2. Click Dispensaries to view all the locations accessible to users. 
  3. Select the location you want to access. 

Once you access your desired location you can navigate through dispensary details and inventory to address any issues or perform tasks as needed. Analytics

The Analytics page is divided into four tabs, including, Sales, Products, Ecommerce, and Marketing. These tabs allow you to view the sales overview, Product breakdown, performance, average order size, and the top-selling products combined from all dispensaries include in the chain account. 

Promote

The Chain Specials feature can be used to create promotions and apply them across multiple locations within a chain. When a special is created on the Chain level, the specific location will show the special with a greyed out card within the location-specific Promote page.

Note: You must have Chain User Management “accessing all locations” to create Chain Level Specials. 

Settings

The Settings page allows you to view My Account or Billing for the chain. If you are already set up with Chain Billing, the Billing tab within Chain Admin Settings, will allow you to view invoices for the Enterprise account. You can update the email address which these invoices are sent to, as well as the payment method on file for billing.
