By default, incoming orders must be confirmed (accepted) manually on a Dutchie Terminal, which shows an alert and plays a sound when a new order comes in. Alternatively, you can turn on a setting to automatically confirm orders whenever at least one Terminal is online.
To turn on auto-confirm:
- In Dutchie Ecommerce Admin, go to Settings > Store Menu.
- Check the box for Enable autoconfirm.
There is no audio notification on the Terminal for new orders when autoconfirm is turned on.
- Click Publish.
Once enabled, you can turn autoconfirm on or off for specific Terminals in Settings > Devices. Check the box next to Auto confirm orders to enable auto-confirm on all Terminals. Click the cog to choose specific Terminals that should auto-confirm and print orders.
Kiosk-only and online-only Terminals will only auto-print the corresponding order source. If a specific Terminal is selected for auto-confirmed orders, the order will be auto-printed by the selected Terminal.
