This reviews the checkout process on Kiosk from customer experience through budtender completion.
Note: To Enable
- Navigate to the Dutchie Admin panel on Ecommerce
- Go to Settings -> Ordering
- Select the Fulfillment option Kiosk
- Select Pay by Bank under Payment Types
- Click Publish
Step 1
- Customer is ready to checkout at a kiosk after adding the items they wish to purchase
- Customer fills in their information
- Under Select Payment Customer selects Pay by Bank
- Customer clicks Submit Order
Step 2
- Once submit order is clicked, the order is sent to the POS for fulfillment
- Customer then scans the QR code on the kiosk screen to transfer the cart from the kiosk to their phone to authorize payment
- Note: If the customer at this point rather pay with some other tender type, they can click pay later at the counter below the QR code
- Once the customer opens the link from the QR code, the kiosk screen auto refreshes with a finalize payment on phone message. The customer is able to select close and walk away from the kiosk, while completing the transaction on their phone.
Step 3
- On their phone the customer will sign in/up for Pay by Bank
- Click here for the complete customer sign-up process
- Once on the cart screen, they will see the items they just added to their cart on kiosk, then apply tip (if applicable)
- They then click Confirm
Step 4
- Once payment on customer’s end has been confirmed, then the cart in the POS should update to show that the order was authorized for Pay by Bank.
- The budtender then clicks the Pay by Bank button > clicks complete order
- Upon clicking on Complete Order, the budtender will see the payment success screen if the order was successfully finalized > then the budtender selects Done to complete the order
