The new Pay By Bank integration for kiosks allows customers to build their cart on a kiosk tablet and complete the transaction directly at the kiosk, eliminating the need to go to the register for payment. This streamlined approach supports faster transactions, reduces in-store wait times, and helps dispensaries manage customer flow more efficiently. Adding Pay By Bank as an option provides a more flexible and seamless checkout experience, benefiting both customers and dispensary staff.
What’s changing?
Customer kiosk experience
With Pay by Bank available directly at the kiosk, the updated customer experience is as follows:
- Customers build their cart at the kiosk and select Pay by Bank as their payment method.
- They submit the order, generating a QR code to scan.
- The customer scans the QR code with their phone, logs into their Pay byy Bank account, and authorizes payment. If the customer does not have a Pay by Bank account they will be prompted to create an account at the kiosk.
The customer can then proceed with minimal wait time, completing checkout with a smooth, Ecommerce-like flow.
Backoffice
When an order is placed at the kiosk, it is received in the POS and ready for fulfillment. The status will read as Paid and indicate Pay by Bank as the payment method.
