Maintain items, rooms, and strains in Metrc

Things to consider

• When these settings are enabled, changes to items, strains, or rooms in Dutchie will be automatically reflected in Metrc, but not the other way around. Avoid making changes to items, strains, or rooms in Metrc.
• These settings are optional and may not be applicable to your state or operations. Consult your CSM, Implementation Specialist, or Dutchie Support if you're not sure if you should use these settings.

Enable settings

1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
2. Select Metrc.
3. Click the Settings tab.
4. Scroll to the dropdowns for Maintain Items, Maintain Rooms, and Maintain Strains and select Yes for each one that you want to enable. You can enable any combination of these settings depending on whether you want Dutchie to automatically create items (products), rooms, and strains in Metrc.
5. Click Update to save your changes.

Sync to Metrc Item setting on Catalog products

You can choose which products in your Catalog should be automatically synced to Metrc by enabling the Sync to Metrc Item setting for individual products. 

1. Go to Product > Catalog.
2. Select a product or create a new one.
3. Scroll to the Sync to Metrc Item dropdown and select Yes.
4. Click Save.

Push strains

Creating a strain in one Dutchie location creates it in every Dutchie location under the same LSP. However, this does not trigger each Dutchie location to sync the new strain to each corresponding Metrc license. To sync the strain to each location in Metrc:

1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
2. Select Metrc.
3. Click the Sync tab.
4. Click the Push: Strains button.
5. Repeat for each location.
