Upload lab data in bulk in Dutchie POS

Upload lab data in bulk from CDX analytics or using a .CSV file in Dutchie POS.

You can upload lab data in bulk from the inventory module in Dutchie POS Backoffice. Use either the lab data wizard to upload .CSV files or upload CDX lab data for files from CDX analytics. Uploading lab results in bulk can help you save time while ensuring your lab data is accurately reported and stored.

Things to know

  • Lab data upload options are located next to the Receive History and Receive Inventory buttons on the Actions dropdown on the main page of the inventory module screen. You can find this by navigating to Products > Inventory.
  • You must make sure that the “Use Bulk Upload Lab Data Option” is set in Settings > Location before you can use this feature.

Use the lab data wizard to upload your .CSV file

Prepare your .CSV file for batch upload

You will need to prepare your .CSV file for upload. You can use the following example as a guide.

  • The first column header of your .CSV must be labeled Batch. You will use this column to designate batch numbers for the lab results. If the .CSV does not contain this column, it will be rejected.
  • The second column header of your .CSV must be labeled Tested Date. The date field format is MM/DD/YYYY.
  • For all the other columns, you can designate your header labels. You will be allowed to map these to the appropriate Lab fields Dutchie Backoffice, before you upload the .CSV.
  • To increase the chances of a successful upload, do not leave empty rows in your .CSV. Empty rows will show as an error in the preview, and you will need to correct your CSV before attempting to upload again.
