Things to consider
- Filter options are matched to fields in the product details section when adding a product.
- The catalog list can be configured to show only the columns you want.
- If you've entered location-specific details for any products, the main catalog view reflects those location-specific details.
Catalogs are central to inventory management and serve as a template for packages received in your inventory. You can use the Catalog module to capture more product data that will allow for more robust reporting options.
View catalog list
To view a product in the catalog module:
- Go to Products > Catalog.
- Optional: Select the product you want to view from the catalog list.
- Optional: Search for the product you want to in the catalog search bar.
Filter the catalog list
The Filter feature in the catalog module has a robust set of filter options. These options allow you to filter products in the catalog list by Brand, Vendor, Category, and Tags. The filter feature also includes a More button that houses the additional filter options, Type, Pricing tiers, and Retired products.
To filter the catalog list:
- Go to Products > Catalog.
- Choose an option from the following filter options:

| Brand | Shows only products from the selected brand in the catalog list. |
| Vendor | Shows products from selected vendors in the catalog list. |
| Category | Shows products that fall under the selected category. |
| Tags | Shows products with selected tags applied. |
