From the Catalog module you can edit product and location details and retire products in bulk. By selecting two or more products from the catalog list, you can: 

• Bulk edit product details
• Bulk edit location-specific product details
• Bulk edit labels
• Bulk retire products
• Bulk unretire products

Note: You may need to adjust individual user permission or system settings to perform these actions.

Bulk edit product details

This action allows the inventory manager to configure which "exit labels" are printed at the register for each product.

1. Select 2 or more products to edit. 
2. Click the Bulk actions button. 
3. Select Bulk edit product details. 
4. Select the field(s) you want to edit from the Field dropdown. To edit multiple fields click + Add field and select another field.
5. For each field, choose or enter the new value you want to apply to each product.
6. Click Save.
    

Bulk edit location-specific product details

This action only applies to location-specific details for the location you're currently viewing.

1. Select 2 or more products to edit location details. 
2. Click the Bulk actions button. 
3. Select Bulk edit location-specific product details. 
4. Select the field(s) you want to edit from the Field dropdown. To edit multiple fields click + Add field and select another field.
5. For each field, choose or enter the new value you want to apply to each product.
6. Click Save.

Bulk edit labels

Allows inventory manager to configure which ‘exit labels’ printed at the register for each product.

1. Select 2 or more products from the same category.
2. Click the Bulk actions button. 
3. Select Bulk edit labels. 
4. Select the field(s) you want to edit from the Field dropdown. To edit multiple fields click + Add field and select another field.
5. For each field, choose or enter the new value you want to apply to each product.
6. Click Save.

You can also configure default exit labels for each product or category. Go to Devices > Register and select label from the Default label field.  This setting will override whatever label is selected for product/category.

Bulk retire products

Retiring a product hides it from Receive, Change Product, and Discounts. Retire products that have been discontinued or that you no longer carry. Wait until you've sold out of or destroyed all remaining inventory before retiring products. Retiring products in Dutchie has no effect on traceability and is not reported to Metrc or BioTrack.

1. Select 2 or more products you want to retire. 
2. Click the Bulk actions button. 
3. Select Bulk retire products.
4. Click Confirm. 

Turn on the Retired products toggle in the More filters window to see all retired products. To unretire products, click on the product to see Product details and click Actions > Unretire. 

Bulk unretire products

This action makes retired products active again in Dutchie.

1. Select 2 or more retired products you want to unretire. 
2. Click the Bulk actions button. 
3. Select Bulk uretire products.
4. Click Confirm.
