Learn how to restrict transactions to specific hours in the Dutchie POS Register.
Dutchie POS users with Administrator permissions can enable a setting to prevent users from completing transactions during specified hours. This setting is useful for dispensaries in states where sale hours for cannabis are regulated, but it can be used to restrict sales to specific times for whatever reason.
- Go to Registers > Configure > Transaction settings.
- Toggle the switch next to Restrict Transactions.
- From the Restrict from dropdown, choose the time when sales should stop for the day. Users will still be able to check in customers and add items to a cart after this time, but will not be able to take payment or complete transactions during restricted hours.
- From the Restrict to dropdown, choose the time when sales should resume the following day.
- Click Save.
