From Dutchie POS, you can view daily summaries of register activity.
The Registers Overview page shows daily summaries of your register activity, including gross sales, net sales, discounts, taxes, and more.
View Registers Overview
- Go to Registers > Overview.
- Click Select timespan or enter a custom date range.
- Click Go.
Daily summaries of all register activity populate below. These include:
| Label | Definition |
| GROSS SALES | Total sales before discounts and tax |
| DISCOUNT | Total dollar amount of discounts applied |
| TAX | Total tax collected |
| LOYALTY | Total dollar value of loyalty points redeemed |
| INVOICE | Total amount tendered for all payment methods |
| CASH | Total amount tendered to cash |
| DEBIT | Total amount tendered to debit. This payment type is used for payments processed manually through a third-party processor. |
| CART AVG | Average cart/transaction total |
| TXN CNT | Number of transactions |
| CUST CNT | Number of customers |
| ITEM CNT | Number of items sold. Weight-based sales are counted as one item regardless of weight. |
| TOTAL COST | Total wholesale cost of goods sold |
Click a daily summary to view more details in the Selected daily totals section, such as:

| Total sales | Total (gross) sales before discounts |
| Discounted | Total amount of all discounts |
| Paid in loyalty | Total amount paid with loyalty points |
| Net sales | Total sales after discounts and before tax |
| Profit | Net sales minus total cost of goods sold |
| New customers | Number of customers who made their first purchase at this location |
| Coupons | Total amount in redeemed coupons |
| Cannabis sales | Cannabis sales, both in dollars and number of items. |
| Non-cannabis sales | Non-cannabis sales both in dollars and number of items. |
Sort the summary table by clicking any column header. Click again to toggle between ascending and descending order.
