In this article, learn how to reset pass passwords and PINs, add your user Metrc key, change the system display language, control the number of rows you want to display on tables, and set the printer you want to use to print labels.
Things to consider
- To configure and manage printers for labels and receipts, go to Settings > Devices > Printers
- You can also reset your PIN from Settings > Users, if you have the appropriate permissions.
Change basic account settings
From Accounts, you can change your password and the system display language. You can also adjust the layout of tables and assign a label printer.
Go to Settings > Accounts.
Change your password
To change your password, select Send password reset. You will receive an email with reset instructions.
Reset your PIN
User accounts in Dutchie Backoffice have two types of PINs you can set. One for Register login, one is for manager overrides, voids, etc. The PIN described in this article set from Settings > Account is for Register Login.
From Settings > Account, you can reset your PIN. Visit Set your PIN for Register login to learn more.
Note: Dutchie POS admins with Edit User permissions can also generate a user PIN by navigating to Settings > Users, clicking on the 3 dots next to the user name, and choosing Details, see Generate a PIN for a User.
Change the system display language
Use the dropdown menu to choose between English and Spanish for the system display language.
Add your user Metrc key
Enter or modify your own user Metrc API key.
Adjust the number of rows per table
Add the number of rows you want to display per table throughout the system.
Assign a label printer
Use the dropdown menu to choose the printer you want to use to print labels.
Click Save Settings to save your choices.
