The factory reset instructions in this article can be used as a general troubleshooting measure to address performance issues or errors.

This article applies to Dutchie Register terminal devices like the one pictured below.

  1. Close out the Register. 
  2. Press the home and power buttons on the Register terminal simultaneously to access the Control Panel.
  3. Swipe up on the ^ icon to pull up the password field.

  4. Enter the Control Panel password. This is likely 9m64u3, but verify the device's password in EloView settings.
  5. Tap the 3 horizontal lines to access the Quick Settings menu.
  6. Select Admin.

  7. Enter the Admin password (the default password is 1elo)
  8. Select Settings.

  9. Select Android Settings.

  10. Select System.

  11. Select Advanced.

  12. Select Reset options.

  13. If the Sticky Boot Mode option is showing, turn it off. Then select Erase all data (factory reset).

    If no factory reset option is showing, hard reset the device.

  14. When prompted, confirm the reset and tap Erase all data. The device will reboot.
  15. Once rebooted, choose Enroll with GMS.

  16. Follow the on-screen prompts. The device will need to be reconnected to Wi-Fi and may check for updates before beginning an automatic setup sequence that may take up to 15 minutes.
