Factory reset your Dutchie Register terminal
This article applies to Dutchie POS and Greenbits.
The factory reset instructions in this article can be used as a general troubleshooting measure to address performance issues or errors.
This article applies to Dutchie Register terminal devices like the one pictured below.
- Close out the Register.
- Press the home and power buttons on the Register terminal simultaneously to access the Control Panel.
- Swipe up on the ^ icon to pull up the password field.
- Enter the Control Panel password. This is likely 9m64u3, but verify the device's password in EloView settings.
- Tap the 3 horizontal lines to access the Quick Settings menu.

Select Admin.
- Enter the Admin password (the default password is 1elo)

Select Settings.

Select Android Settings.

Select System.

Select Advanced.

Select Reset options.
- If the Sticky Boot Mode option is showing, turn it off. Then select Erase all data (factory reset).
If no factory reset option is showing, hard reset the device.
- When prompted, confirm the reset and tap Erase all data. The device will reboot.
- Once rebooted, choose Enroll with GMS.
- Follow the on-screen prompts. The device will need to be reconnected to Wi-Fi and may check for updates before beginning an automatic setup sequence that may take up to 15 minutes.
