The possession limit for cannabis beverages has increased to 17.1 litres. Therefore, customers are now able to purchase more beverages. The federal dry flower weight to liquid cannabis equivalency is now 1 gram of dried flower weight = 570 mL. You can use Dutchie POS to bulk update all the beverages in your catalog to reflect the new flower equivalency. Use this guide to update the equivalencies in the back office of Dutchie POS. 

Things to consider

• Your province will notify licensees that the new equivalencies have gone into effect.
• If you receive any shipment between the time you update the equivalencies and the end of month, you will need to continue to manually adjust the equivalencies of the new products until the new catalog is provided during the next purchasing month.

Change equivalency in catalog

1. Go to Products > Catalog. 
2. Use the Category filter to filter the catalog list for beverages.
   
   
3. Select the beverages you want to change the beverage equivalencies for.
   Tip: If you enter the beverage amount in the search bar to list all the beverage sizes you want to bulk update. For example, you can type in 355 mL in the search bar and all beverages with that quantity should appear.
   
4. From the Bulk actions dropdown, select Bulk edit product details.
5. In the Catalog bulk edit window, select Flower equivalent and enter the new beverage equivalency amount.
   
6. Click Save.
