GlobalTill | Dutchie E-Commerce - How to process orders

Learn how to integrate GlobalTill with Dutchie E-Commerce.

Things to know

  • You must have user permissions to manage integrations in Dutchie E-Commerce.

If you have Order Sync enabled, you can have your Dutchie E-Commerce orders sent to GlobalTill. If you are integrated with GlobalTill and are interested in enabling Order Sync for your dispensary, please reach out to support@dutchie.com or your Customer Success Manager.

Pickup order workflow

  1. Customer places order on Dutchie E-Commerce. 

  2. Click “Confirm” in Dutchie E-Commerce Admin. At this point, the order should be managed in GlobalTill. 

  3. In GlobalTill, navigate to Selling > Customer Orders

  4. The order will appear in the list of orders with the status Received (New). Click on the arrow next to the order number to open the order.

  5. Once the order is fulfilled/picked, click Actions > Mark All Lines as Picked.

  6. Click the red “Customer will Pickup” button. This will mark the order as Ready for Pickup and move it to Past Orders in Dutchie E-Commerce, and notify the consumer via text that their order is Ready for Pickup.

Delivery Order Workflow

  1. Customer places order on Dutchie E-Commerce.

  2. Click “Confirm” in Dutchie E-Commerce Admin. At this point, the order should be managed in GlobalTill.

  3. In GlobalTill, navigate to Selling > Customer Orders.

  4. The order will appear in the list of orders with the status Received (New). Click on the arrow next to the order number to open the order. 

  5. To begin order fulfillment, click the “Ready to Order/Pick” button. 

  6. Once the order is fulfilled/picked, click Actions > Mark All Lines as Picked. Do not click the “Customer will Pickup” button. 

  7. When the order is being sent out for delivery, click Actions > Mark Out for Delivery. This will trigger the order to move to "In Transit" in Dutchie E-Commerce and send a text or email notification to the customer that their order is on the way. 

  8. Click Actions > Mark Delivered when the order has been delivered. This will close the order out in Dutchie E-Commerce and move it into Past orders.
