In this article, learn how to hide or remove items from your menus.
Things to know
- You can hide or remove items from your Dutchie E-Commerce menu by making items inactive or adjusting inventory to 0.
Hide items on your Dutchie E-Commerce menu
Making the item inactive is the fastest way to remove it from the consumer-facing Dutchie E-Commerce menu.
From your Dutchie E-Commerce Admin click Menu in the sidebar navigation.
- Use the toggle next to the item to move it from active (green) to inactive (red)
- Click the green toggle switch next to the item to turn the switch red to mark the item inactive. Note: Click once to change. The toggle can lag and may take a moment to switch off or on.
Hide or remove items in your integrated menu
Adjust inventory to "0" in Point of Sale system (POS).
- If the item is physically out of inventory, adjusting the inventory to "0" will effectively remove the item after a fresh sync.
Make the item Not For Sale (NFS).
- Each Point of Sale system (POS) has a way of marking an item that is not for sale (NFS). Once an item is marked NFS (or moved to a room that doesn’t process sales), the item will no longer show on the Dutchie E-Commerce menu after a fresh sync.
Hide or remove items in your non-integrated menu
Non-integrated menu managers may also set the inventory to 0 from inside the product if they choose to enable this feature.
This is done by scrolling down through the product settings to Inventory and changing the quantity.
