Set up Weedmaps with Dutchie POS
This article applies to Dutchie POS.
Integrate Weedmaps with Dutchie POS.
Things to consider
- Ensure that you have a Room set up as Is E-Commerce Room? - Yes.
- If the integration setting 'Assign Rooms to Menus' is enabled, you have to select Weedmaps within each room for inventory to appear.
Existing users: Disable the Weedmaps 2 integration by deleting your current API key and entering the new Public API key you received from Dutchie POS support. After disabling your Weedmaps 2 integration you need to request the public API Key for your account.
Dutchie POS Support:
-
Generate the public API key, Cand share it with the client to us in their Weedmaps account.
Note: Weedmaps may refer to this integration as the API Crawler.
Client Setup Weedmaps:
- Log into Weedmaps and access the Listings page and click Edit.
- Go to the Menu tab and click POS Integration.
- From the Point of Sale dropdown, select Dutchie POS.
- Enter you Dutchie POS credentials in the applicable API Key fields.
- Click Next.
- In the Rooms field, all rooms associated with your API key will be listed. Click the x next to the rooms that you don’t want to sync. All remaining rooms will be synced over.
- The ‘Use Dutchie POS Medical License Type’ should be set to Yes (enabled) if your integration is being set up in Arizona or Illinois. When enabled, Weedmaps will then respect the medical license type designation assigned by Dutchie POS rather than Weedmaps forcing the value, no matter which API key value is used.
- Set Merge Cannabinoid Values to Yes (enabled) to combine THC/THCA and CBD/CBDA percentages and display the total percentage for each. Setting it to No (disabled) will base percentages solely on THC and CBD.
- When you’re finished, click Create.
