Set a low stock threshold for inventory in Dutchie POS

You can set a Low Stock Threshold for each product in your Dutchie POS Catalog to control when that product will no longer appear in your integrated online menu.

Things to consider

  • Products will not appear in integrated online menus when their available quantity drops below the Low Stock Threshold you set. Once the product's quantity rises above the threshold, it automatically reappears on your menu.
  • Products with no specified low stock threshold remain on your menu until the quantity reaches zero.
  • Make sure that Location Settings and Product Details are entered correctly:
    • Location Settings: These settings are specific to ONE location. The system prefers these settings and will use them, even if Product Details are set.
    • Product Details: Sets general product details for ALL locations; the system will use these by default for all locations unless specific location settings are set.

Set a low stock threshold

When a product reaches its low stock threshold, it will automatically be removed from your online menu, and preorders will be paused. The item will remain on live menus for in-store traffic only to avoid insufficient products at the store.

  1. Go to Products > Catalog.
  2. Select the product(s) from the catalog list.
  3. Select the Details tab.
Note: The low stock threshold feature is location-specific. If you have multiple locations you can set it in the location details tab.
  4. Enter the quantity in the Low Stock Threshold field.
  5. Click Save.

To edit multiple products, click the checkbox next to the products you want to edit and select Bulk edit product details from the Catalog bulk actions dropdown.
