Guidance and troubleshooting information about configuring the low inventory threshold in Dutchie POS.
Things to consider
- Your products will not sync if you have not enabled any needed integration.
- Products will only be imported if they have a level greater than the inventory threshold set.
- Make sure that Location Settings and Product Details are entered correctly:
-
Location Settings: These settings are specific to ONE location. The system prefers these settings and will use them, even if Product Details are set.
-
Product Details: Sets general product details for ALL locations; the system will use these by default for all locations unless specific location settings are set.
-
Set low inventory threshold
When an item hits the low inventory threshold, it will automatically be removed from your online menu, and preorders will be paused. The item will remain on live menus for in-store traffic only to avoid insufficient products at the store.
- Go to Products > Catalog.
- Select the product(s) from the catalog list.
- Select the Details tab.
Note: The low inventory threshold feature is location-specific. If you have multiple locations you can set it in the location details tab. - Enter the quantity in the Low inventory threshold field.
- Click Save.
Note!
To edit multiple products click the checkbox next to the products you want to edit and select Bulk edit product details from the Catalog bulk actions dropdown.
