Delete duplicate manifests from receive history in Dutchie POS

Learn how to delete duplicate manifests that can appear when receiving inventory in Dutchie POS.

Duplicate manifests can appear in your receive history if a user clicks the Receive button twice when receiving the inventory.

As long as you haven't sold any products from a duplicate manifest, moved products from a duplicate manifest, or made changes to the packages, you can delete it from receive history. Deleting also removes the duplicate inventory associated with the manifest keeping your inventory accurate in Dutchie POS.

Things to know

  • If there is no Delete button available, this means at least one item associated with the manifest has been sold. In this case, contact Dutchie Support for advice on your specific situation. In many cases, you can adjust the quantities of each product on the manifest to match your actual quantities, and select the Bypass state system option to avoid creating a discrepancy.
  • If ANY changes are made to packages from the manifest you won't be able to delete the manifest.
  • Moving inventory can impact your ability to delete Manifests. For instance, moving extra inventory to a quarantine room to prevent selling will also prevent you from being able to delete the manifest.

Delete a duplicate manifest

  1. In the Backoffice, go to Products > Inventory.
  2. Click the Receive history button.
  3. Select the duplicate manifest from the list. Be sure to select the transaction ID that does not appear in the state system.
  4. Click the Delete button.
