The Enable Arrival Time feature makes it easier to estimate delivery times for mobile checkout. Learn more in this article.
By default, arrival times on delivery manifests are based on the delivery time the customer requests when they place an order or on the estimated delivery time the dispatcher enters in the POS.
The Enable Arrival Time feature provides a more accurate reflection of the arrival time.
How it works
Dutchie automatically updates and syncs the estimated delivery time on the manifest to the time that the transaction is closed out through mobile checkout. Traceability systems such as Metrc and BioTrack are updated at the same time.
Things to consider
- Certain settings in the Backoffice must be enabled for this feature to work. Contact your Dutchie support administrator to ensure you have the necessary settings enabled.
- When enabled, this setting only applies to orders made in mobile checkout.
- This setting works with multiple forms of payment including cash, debit, and Pay by Bank.
- If you are in a state that uses a state traceability system, your updated delivery time will sync and be updated there as well.
Set delivery arrival time
- Go to Settings > Location.
- Navigate to the Mobile Checkout section.
- Check the Set Manifest Arrival Time On Mobile Checkout Tender box.
- Click Save.
Manage deliveries
Once you enable the setting in the mobile checkout section, you can manage your deliveries as you normally would and the arrival time field will automatically update when a delivery order is closed out. View updated time on Manifest
Once you mobile checkout delivery order has been fulfilled and the route is complete, the Date/Approx Time of Arrival field on the Printed Manifest will updated with the correct time the order was completed.
- Go to Products > Manifest.
- Click the Retail tab.
- Select the tender you want to confirm the delivery time for.
- From the Actions dropdown, select Print manifest.
- Open the printed manifest PDF.
- Navigate to the Arrival time field to see the accurate arrival time.
