In Pennsylvania, customers can pay using the Medical Marijuana Assistance Program (MMAP). Dutchie allows retailers in Pennsylvania to apply this as the payment type to help with sales reporting and compliance needs for the MMAP.

Things to consider

• By default, the MMAP payment type is turned on for all Pennsylvania locations. Dutchie Support can disable this payment type for your location upon request.
• The MMAP is only available in select states. Check with your state regulators to see if your state has this program available.
• If you are using MMAP as a payment type, you can split the payment to cover any remaining balance after the customer’s MMAP payment is applied.  

Apply MMAP as a payment type

1. Add the customer’s items to the cart. 
2. Click Checkout.
3. Select MMAP tile in the Select payment type pane. 
4. Enter the amount you want to apply and click Add. 
5. If you have a remaining balance, select a payment type for the remaining amount. 
6. Click Pay.
7. Click Done to complete the transaction.
