Manage customer types in Dutchie POS
This article applies to Dutchie POS.
Learn how to assign customer types in Dutchie POS.
A customer type (medical, recreational, caregiver, etc.) must be assigned to each customer so the Dutchie Register can correctly enforce purchase limits and patient allotments, apply the right tax rates, report sales accurately, and more according to your location's configuration and your state's cannabis regulations.
Note: Customer types are used for compliance purposes and are different from customer groups, which you can customize to control which customers are eligible for certain discounts.
