To transfer part of a package to another licensee, operators integrated with BioTrack should first sublot (or "split") the quantity to be transferred into its own package.
Things to consider
- When you sublot a package, BioTrack assigns the new package its own 16-digit BioTrack package ID, but the source package retains its original package ID.
- Sublotted packages are always associated with the same product as the source package.
- Sublotted packages inherit the source package's test results. Manufacturing and processing locations should wait to sublot any finished goods until their test results have been recorded in Dutchie POS. Otherwise, the sublotted package will need to be tested separately.
Sublot a package
- Go to Products > Inventory.
- Click the three dots next to the package and select Sublot.
- Under New Packages, enter the number of packages you want to create, the room, label type, and cost.
- In the Quantity field, enter the number of items you want in each package.
- Click Sublot.
- Locate the sublotted package in your inventory list and transfer as needed.
