Leafly + Dutchie POS integration guide

This article will teach you how to activate your Leafly menu integration with Dutchie POS.

Things to consider

  • When you contact Dutchie support for credentials, allow up to  48 hours (not including weekends). For any issues obtaining your API key, reach out to support@dutchie.com for further assistance. 
  • Leafly pulls updates from Dutchie every 6-10 minutes. However, some changes can take up to 15 minutes to reflect on your menu. 
  • Dutchie POS supports dual menus. If using dual menus, items must be tagged as medical, recreational, or both. 

Integration requirements

  • To activate this integration, contact support@dutchie.com. Be sure to include the name of the LOC you want to integrate. 
  • Certain settings must be enabled in Dutchie POS Backoffice to activate the Leafly integration. Contact support@dutchie.com for more information.

Integration workflow 

Obtain Leafly credentials

To get your credentials, please email support@dutchie.com, and request a setup for Leafly and an API Key. Once you enter these credentials in Leafly, you are ready to sync your menu.

Setup E-commerce rooms in Dutchie

You will need to ensure your rooms are listed correctly within Dutchie. Go to your Room settings within your Dutchie and complete the following steps:

Room settings

  1. Go to Settings > Rooms.
  2. Click the Rooms tab.  
  3. Set the following fields:
    • Is E-Commerce Room? > Yes
    • Room Accessible by Menus field has Leafly selected

Dutchie POS Leafly Notes
Name or Online Title  Item name Leafly pulls data from the online title field, but if there is no value present - it falls back to the product name on the menu item.
Category Category type Categories can be remapped on Leafly. Follow these steps: Category Mapping.
Strain Strain name  
Brand Brand name  
THC/CBD Content or Lab Results Compound Data (THC + CBD) Leafly pulls data from the lab results, but if there is no value present, Leafly uses the fields on the product details.
Online Description Descriptions Leafly pulls data from the online description field, but if there is no value present Leafly uses the name on the menu.
Product images Image   
Price or Default Pricing Tier Price Leafly does not pull in deal/sale pricing.
