Interactive Tutorial: Setting Starting Cash Balance

14 STEPS

1. The first step is to open Dutchie Backoffice and click Registers

2. Click Transactions

3. Click Register 3 (MED), a register without a starting balance set.

4. Click Close out

5. Put your cursor in the Cash counted area.

Step 5 image

6. Type 0.0001 in the Cash counted area.

7. With your mouse, select text in New balance: *

8. Type $250 in the New balance area

Step 8 image

9. Click Note:

10. Type Setting Starting Cash Balance in the Note: area

Step 10 image

11. Click Close out

12. Click Confirm

13. Click Transactions

14. That's it! You're done. Now repeat the process with all registers that need a starting balance.

Steps to Set Starting Cash Balance:

1. Navigate to Backoffice
2. Select Registers
3. Select Transactions
4. Select Register without Starting Balance
5. Select Close Out
6. Enter $0.001 for Cash Counted
7. In the New Balance field, enter the starting balance for this register
8. Leave a note: Setting Starting Balance
9. Click Close Out
10. Click Confirm
11. Repeat the Process for All Registers As Needed
