Lab sample: inventory management action - Dutchie POS

Manufacturers, cultivators, and processors can use the Lab Sample inventory management action to adjust a package to remove a portion of content to send for testing. Users can also use lab sample inventory management to void labs samples to help correct mistakes.

Things to know

  • Lab samples can’t be created in bulk. You need a unique package ID for each sample.
  • Voided lab samples can't be undone. If a lab sample is voided by mistake, it will need to be recreated in the Dutchie.
  • Biotrack states: Users integrated with Biotrack can void lab samples in Dutchie to correct mistakes. When a lab sample is voided:
    • A void request is sent to Biotrack.
    • The lab sample is zeroed-out in Dutchie POS.
    • Quantity is restored from the lab sample inventory to the original package.
  • Metrc states: Creating lab test packages in Dutchie does not create a lab test package in Metrc. Use the Bypass state system option when creating lab test packages in Dutchie and then manually create a corresponding package in Metrc.
