You can add products to the Dutchie Product Library individually or in bulk.
Add a single product from the Products page
- Click the Add Product button located at the top of the Products table.
- Fill out the fields in the Add Library Item form.
Note: A preview of how your product will display on Dutchie dispensary menus will appear in the sidebar. - Click Save.
- Navigate to the Products page to see the item in the table. You may need to refresh your browser.
Tip
Product score. The product score that appears below your product preview shows how complete your menu, and which items need to be updated and/or connected to the Product Library. Item scores are not customer facing, and do no rank products, etc.

When listing your product name, it’s helpful to think about how you would refer to the product in conversation. For example, rather than “Cartridge-live resin-gorilla glue” consider listing the name as “Gorilla Glue Live Resin Cartridge”. If the product comes in multiple sizes or weights, please list them separately and add a differentiating aspect to the naming convention. For example: Gorilla Glue Live Resin Cartridge | 1g Gorilla Glue Live Resin Cartridge | 0.5g |
| Type | Dutchie has 4 type designations: Indica, Sativa, Hybrid, High-CBD, Indica-Hybrid, Sativa-Hybrid, THC, 1 to 1, 2 to 1, 5 to 1, 10 to 1, 20 to 1, 50 to 1, N/A. It is important to select one of these so that when users filter by type your product is included. |
| Brand | If your organization has Parent and Child brands within it, please select the brand name that is most relevant to a customer. |
| State | Products must be added to a specific state’s library. If your product is available in multiple states, you can use the Copy button on the Products tab and change the state on the Edit Library Item page. Be sure to update other state-specific information, such as packaging, descriptions, etc. |
| Effects | Effects are pre-populated when a type is selected, and can be adjusted as needed to fit your product. |
| Image | Up to nine images may be added for each product. We suggest that the first image be of a singular product, on a white or transparent background. In order to prevent any cropping issues, please use a 1:1 image ratio. PNG or JPEG are the preferred formats. No pixel size limits, so go ahead and provide the highest resolution possible. |
| THC & CBD Content |
In order to provide batch specific test results, we will always defer to the data received from a retailers POS to populate the THC and CBD fields. In the event that no test result data is provided by the POS, and a connection has been made between the menu item and your library item, the data you provide will be pushed to the menu item. The action icon to the right of the THC and CBD fields will allow you to add ranges and change the unit of measurement for your product. |
| Terpenes | Terpenes may be added as a tag, or with a specific value added. Similar to THC & CBD results, we will defer to terpene data that is received from the retailer’s POS to help ensure batch specific information. In the event that no test result data is provided by the POS, and a connection has been made between the menu item and your library item, the data you provide will be pushed to the menu item. |
