Enable the use of Metrc Brands in Dutchie POS

Use Metrc brands with Dutchie POS.
In states that use Compliance Brand/Item Brands in Metrc, Dutchie POS gives you the ability to enable the use of the Use Metrc Brands setting in the Backoffice, which allows you to create and edit products in the POS.
Things to consider
- To use this feature certain Metrc settings must be enabled in the Backoffice. Check with your Dutchie Administrator to ensure you have the necessary settings enabled.
- Check your state compliance guidelines to see if tracking Metrc Item Brands is required in your state.
- Users can’t edit and create new Metrc Brands in Dutchie. All creating and editing of new brands must be done in Metrc.
Enable Use Metrc brands
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Select the Metrc card.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Select Yes from the Use Metrc Brands dropdown.
- Click Update to save changes.
Select Metrc Brand on a product
- Go to Products > Catalog.
- Select a product from the list.
- Under the Details tab, make sure Sync to Metrc Item is set to Yes.
- Select the Metrc Brand from the dropdown.
Note: This should be the same as the Compliance/Item brand in Metrc. - Click Save.
Important product configurations
- Ensure the item you are updating has Sync to Metrc Item set to Yes in the Catalog Product details. If Sync to Metrc is set to No, you will not be able to see the Metrc Brands fields.
