Learn how to access user event logs to see the actions user have performed in Dutchie POS.
User event logs provide details about the actions that users have performed in Dutchie POS that can be helpful in audits. These logs include actions related to:
- User profiles
- Discounts
- Inventory packages
- Catalog products
- Dutchie POS features and settings
Things to know
- You can Search Events and filter the list by Employee and Event type.
- Select Actions to Print or Export an event log.
View user event logs
- In the Backoffice, go to Settings > Users.
- Select the User event log tab.
- From the Select an option dropdown, choose a category.
- Enter a date range that you want to view logs for.
- Click Run.
A table will populate with a list of actions and events related to your selected category that took place during your specified time frame, including:
- the date and time
- the employee/user who performed each action
- the type of event, such as Create, Edit/Update, or Delete
- the specific user profile, discount, package, product, or feature/setting the event applied to
- what exactly was edited
- the Previous and Changed To values
- the Dutchie POS Location that the user was logged into
Click the cog wheel to show, hide, or rearrange the data columns in the events log.
