Dutchie POS | Dutchie E-Commerce - Set potency sources

Learn about options for selecting the Potency Source in Dutchie E-Commerce when integrating with Dutchie POS.

Because Dutchie POS has multiple locations for recording product potency information, the integration settings for Dutchie POS within Dutchie E-Commerce (Settings > Integrations > Dutchie Point of Sale > Settings tab) include options to select which Potency Source Dutchie E-Commerce should use for each major product category.

Things to know

  • The potency sync algorithm defaults to the oldest package date, but the behavior is undefined when dates are missing. Ensure package dates are populated during inventory receive to guarantee predictable potency sync behavior.
  • Changing these settings will pull in new potency data from Dutchie POS and will overwrite any pre-existing potency data in Dutchie E-Commerce.

THC/CBD (Lab Results) or THCa/CBDa (Lab Results)

These settings use inventory-level lab results from Dutchie POS, which you'll find on any cannabis inventory item by clicking the Lab results button.

Each inventory item has fields for THC, CBD, THCA, and CBDA.

Calculated Total (Lab Results)

This setting uses the THC and THCA values from the inventory-level lab results in Dutchie POS to calculate potency according to this formula:

(0.877 x THCA) + THC = total THC

THC/CBD (Catalog)

This setting uses the THC content and CDB content values from the Product Catalog in Dutchie POS. These values are not package-specific and are found on product detail pages in the Catalog.
