Dutchie Pay is now Pay by Bank, powered by Plaid!

Dutchie Pay is now called Pay by Bank.

We are in the process of changing the name throughout our documentation. Some articles or screenshots may still use Dutchie Pay as we work to change it throughout our help center.

Pay by Bank, powered by Plaid is the same great product, with the same great features, just with a new name! 

Problem

  • Prefer to pay with cash, but receive a prompt to sign up for Pay by Bank when placing an order. 
  • Not sure how to bypass Pay by Bank.
  • Checkout without using Pay by Bank.
  • Don’t see an option to bypass Pay by Bank and proceed with a cash payment.
  • Issue checking out with cash.

Cause

During the checkout process, it can appear that Pay by Bank is the only available way to pay. 

Solution

By following these steps, you can opt for a cash payment and successfully place your order.

Step 1: Log In

  • Log into your Dutchie account.
  • If you don't have an account, sign up for one using your preferred email address.

Step 2: Add Items to Cart

  • Select desired products from a dispensary's menu and add them to your cart.

Step 3: Proceed to Checkout

  • Click the cart icon.
  • During this process, you’ll be asked to provide the following essential information:
    • Full name
    • Cell phone number (for order status alerts)
    • Birthdate (in MM/DD/YYYY format)

Step 4: Select ‘Cash’ Payment Option

  • When you reach payment options, you’ll see ‘Cash’ as one of the choices.
  • Select this option to indicate that you prefer to pay in cash.
  • Proceed to ‘Place Order’ on the righthand side.
