Dutchie Kiosk can be used with any web-capable device with the following requirements:

At minimum, devices and networks should meet the following requirements:

  • Memory: 3GB RAM
  • Processor/CPU: 2.2Ghz x 4 cores
  • Network: 200mbps down
  • Recommended Browser: Chrome

Best practices for all devices used for Dutchie Kiosk

  1. Hide all other apps on the device.
  2. Adjust the security settings on the browser app to only allow browsing dutchie.com.
  3. Hide the search bar on the internet browser.

Best practices for iPads used for your Dutchie Kiosk

Limit guest navigation on iPad

If you are planning to use iPads, we recommend saving the link to your Kiosk menu on the home screen of the iPad, then turning on Guided Access. Guided Access will allow you to lock down the iPad to a specific app.

Enable content restrictions on iPad

If you'd like to ensure that customers don't leave the kiosk website, you'll need to enable restrictions on your iPads. Follow the instructions for enabling restrictions, which can be found in Apple's Support Center.

Limit guest navigation on Chrome

We recommend using Chrome as your browser for Dutchie Kiosk.

  • Keep your Dutchie Kiosk URL link loaded on an incognito or private window on your browser. This is to ensure that the browser doesn't try to autosave any payment information provided.
  • Adjust your browser settings so customers are not prompted to save or autofill any information.  Visit chrome://settings/payments.
  • Adjust your browser settings so that the cookies in the browser are cleared frequently (or not captured at all).
