Enable Pay by Bank

Pay by Bank can be enabled across three areas of your Dutchie setup: your online store and kiosk (via the Admin panel), and your in-store point of sale (via POS Back Office). Work through each section below that applies to your store.

E-Commerce & Kiosk

Follow these steps to make Pay by Bank available as a payment option for online and kiosk orders.

  1. Log in to the Dutchie Admin panel.
  2. Go to Settings > Ordering.
  3. Select the fulfillment type you want to enable Pay by Bank for — for example, Pickup, Delivery, or Kiosk.
  4. Under Payment Types, select Pay by Bank.
  5. Click Publish to save your changes.

Enabling Tipping for E-Commerce & Kiosk

If you want customers to be able to tip on Pay by Bank orders placed online or at a kiosk, enable it here as a separate step.

  1. Go to Settings > Checkout.
  2. Check the box for Accept tips on Pay by Bank for delivery/pickup orders.

Point of Sale

Follow the path below that matches your store's setup — either standard POS registers or registers paired with Dutchie Hub terminals.

Without Dutchie Hub Terminals

  1. Log in to your POS Back Office.
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations > Pay by Bank.
  3. Flip Enabled to Yes and click Save.
  4. Set Enable Tipping to Yes or No based on your store's tipping preference, then click Save.
  5. Refresh your POS to apply the changes.

With Dutchie Hub Terminals

  1. Log in to your POS Back Office.
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations > Dutchie Hub.
  3. Flip Enabled to Yes.
  4. Flip Pay by Bank Enabled to Yes and click Save.
  5. Select the Tipping tab and set Enabled to Yes or No based on your store's preference, then click Save.
  6. Refresh your POS to apply the changes.
